If you are a professional videographer, we are interested in articles on technical expertise and gear, advice for other pro-videographers and personal experiences. Specify any supplemental footage, stills or video that would be included. This could be a formatted as a feature, a shot diary or stories from the field.
We are interested in Digital Video Filmmaking and Professional Videography, the filmmaking and videography communities and especially in new ways of filmmaking, distributing and marketing.

Cinema Perfecto stories are informative, friendly and opinionated. Please note the format for how we present the basic facts and follow it, thinking about how best to extract and present any usable information. Our audience is made up of different experience levels, so keep in mind the level of understanding and which audience you are targeting.

Submission Procedures
No responsibility is assumed for unsolicited manuscripts and these are highly discouraged.

Please submit a query letter to the editor in advance. The letter should explain and outline the proposed story idea; e-mail queries are preferred. Please send them to the following e-mail address.

The article must not have been published in other filmmaking magazines. Once an editor approves an idea for a story, the writer will be issued a Writer's Contract assigning word length and due date for the text. The contract specifies the terms of the agreement between the writer and Cinema Perfecto.
The assigned text should be submitted via e-mail with the resource material specified in the contract. Following submission of the text, the writer may be asked to revise the manuscript for publication or to supply further information or answer questions posed by the editor. The final text will be reviewed by the editors and may be altered for clarity, accuracy or length.

Additional information concerning payment and other terms is specified in the Writer's Contract that is forwarded after initial article acceptance. Articles are not published until the Writer's Contract is signed, dated and returned to Cinema Perfecto.
